DEMICTEN Varnish Hygienic, cosmetic, and anti-mycotic preparation
Skin care often requires treating
small skin spots, e.g., cuts and herpetic eruptions, or protect damaged skin
from reinfection. Demicten works similarly to Band-Aid™ and is almost invisible
on the surface of the skin.
The lacquer is based on emulsion of
polyvinyl-acetate; on contact with air it is polymerized and forms a protective
film that is transparent for air. The disinfectant, formaldehyde, is added in a
concentration that does not hinder regeneration of skin cells. As an originall
addition to the formaldehyde, the lacquer contains biologically active
metabolic products of a bacteria that is "friendly” to man (of the Bacillus
genus), which is always present on healthy skin and suppresses the growth of
staphylococci and fungi. Demicten rapidly eliminates hyperemia and edema, dries
small wounds and does not allow inflammations to develop. It is indispensable
for treatment of nail cuticle during manicure, heals cracks on various spots, helps
to get rid of keratinization of skin on feet and elbows which usually develops
as a result of fungal infection.
Demicten is successfully used to treat
fungal developments on the skin of the feet and on toenails, helps to get rid
of a characteristic "army” smell.
Demicten should be applied as a very thin
film on damaged skin areas only, allowing it to dry until a thin but strong
film is formed. The preparation has no side effects or contraindications.
Indications
Prevention and treatment of damage of
bacterial or fungal origin in dense and soft tissue, skin and nails, including
mycosis and onychomycosis of feet, keratinization and cracks on heels, herpes.
Directions for use
Steam your feet in hot water with addition
of salt and iodine (as for gargling). After cleaning mechanically from residual
keratinized and dead tissue apply Demicten to the surface of the nail or skin
in a very thin, almost invisible layer, rub a little and allow it to dry for
2-3 minutes. The film becomes thin, strong, and almost invisible.
For various fungal infections, use Demicten
daily until the symptoms of the disease disappear and the tissues are
regenerated. On the nails, it is possible to apply any decorative nail varnish
over Demicten. After healing of the skin tissue or nails, it is recommended to
use Demicten preventively 1 or 2 times a week. This is particularly important
for fungal infection of nails.
Demicten is perfect for suppressing the
growth of cuticle. After manicure and application of the decorative varnish,
allow the nails to dry well, and then apply Demicten to the cuticle in a thin
layer.
Remember that Demicten is applied only to
the damaged or problematic are of the skin or nail: the spot affected by the
fungal infection, the cuticle, keratinized are on the toes or heels, herpes, or
single eruption.
